Mostly sunny skies prevailed across the state today, with high temperatures below normal.
The below normal temperatures will continue tonight as clear skies allow lows to drop into the 30’s state-wide.
The high pressure now in control of our weather will slide east of Alabama tomorrow morning. Southerly winds will help the highs to start to rebound through the start of the weekend.
Predominantly dry conditions will also persist through early Saturday morning. The rain chances increase Saturday evening as a surface low becomes more organized and tracks across the southeast.
This should provide a good round of rain to Alabama, probably between late Saturday night into Sunday afternoon.
The instability levels look low with this rain event, as a result… no severe thunderstorms are expected.
