With light winds, areas of frost will be possible across the northern third of the state.
Elsewhere, overnight lows will be in the upper 30s to lower 40s. A small chance of rain showers across the southeast tonight, but most locations will be dry.
Tuesday looks cooler and windy as a dry cold front slides through the area. Winds of 20 to 25 mph with gusts to 35 are possible during the afternoon and early evening hours.
A widespread freeze will impact all except the extreme southern sections of Alabama Tuesday night through Wednesday morning.
