An area of low pressure will develop across the Central Gulf and move northeast tonight into Friday.
This system will bring another round of heavy rainfall to portions of southwest Alabama.
The National Weather Service in Mobile has issued a Flash Flood Watch in effect from tonight through Friday afternoon.
The Flash Flood Watch for portions of Alabama include the following counties: Baldwin, Conecuh, Covington, Escambia and Mobile.
Widespread rain totals of 2 to 4 inches with up to 6 inches locally.
Rivers across the watch area are already in flood. This additional rainfall may exacerbate the flooding along with bringing instances of flash flooding.
