Unsettled weekend weather with rain chances are expected across northern Alabama. Drier and warmer weather for the southern part of the state through Sunday.
A disturbance located over northern Mississippi early this morning is moving quickly towards the east.
We are seeing a good deal of rain associated with the area, and rain showers are likely this morning across norther sections of the state.
Most of the rain chances should remain to the north of Birmingham. Once this area of showers moves east this morning, temperatures are expected to return to the around 70 degrees across the north with some sun returning.
Partly to mostly sunny skies are expected down south today with places like Montgomery, Troy and Mobile reaching into the 80’s.
Sunday’s weather is looking a little wet again with lots of clouds across the northern half of the state…once again southern areas look dry and warm.
