The forecast for today should be a near repeat of what we saw yesterday, with a bit more coverage of scattered showers and thunderstorms this afternoon.
Temperatures will top out in the upper 80’s to around 90 in some locations state wide.
It looks as though we may be getting into a period where scattered thunderstorms will be possible each day all the way into the weekend period.
A series of upper level disturbances will move across the area and interact with the heat and moisture in place.
Due to the scattered and convective nature of the storms, we can see gusty winds, small hail and locally heavy rainfall.
Although no organized severe weather is expected, a few of the storms will reach severe limits.
