Areas of heavy rain and storms overnight have moved out of the state this morning.
It now looks as though the high pressure that was expected to move in and take over our weather may not suppress the scattered thunderstorms until Monday.
Another good chance at seeing scattered showers and storms today/tonight before high pressure begins to build in. Some of the storms this afternoon and evening may become strong. We will be watching for isolated severe activity.
Sunday afternoon will be more widely scattered, typical summertime afternoon.
Highs will be warming up each day with highs today in the mid to upper 80s north to upper 80s to low 90s south.
Even warmer temperatures are coming by the first of next with less rain chances.
