The high pressure ridge to our west will expand a bit and increase heights across Alabama today and Sunday.
This will result in hotter temperatures and decreased rain chances.
Isolated to scattered storms will be possible more toward the southeastern counties of the state.
Most areas north of I-20 should remain dry and this afternoon.
We expect to see afternoon high temperatures to reach the low to mid 90’s state wide.
Very similar conditions are expected during the day on Sunday. We might see more widespread daytime highs in the mid 90’s.
