The high pressure ridge remains over the southeast and is responsible for holding off any major systems affecting the area.
Hot and humid weather conditions are expected each day state wide through the weekend.
Temperatures will reach the 90’s each day and warm overnight lows in the upper 60’s to the mid 70’s.
There will be some scattered thunderstorms develop as weak upper level disturbances move over the state today and Wednesday.
We are not looking at any organized or widespread rain, however some folks will receive some decent rain amounts that get caught directly under the heavier storms.
A few of the storms will produce strong gusty winds and frequent lightning strikes along with the locally heavy rainfall.
Tropical Storm Dolly has formed in the southwest Gulf of Mexico. She is moving slowly west towards Mexico…and will have zero affect on Alabama’s weather.
