There is not much change in the weather forecast today, as the muggy weather continues across the region.
We expect partly cloudy conditions to start out the day, with the temperatures rising through the 80’s pretty quick through the morning.
Hot and humid conditions will interact with the heat of the day along with left over outflow boundaries from Thursday’s storms to produce more scattered storms this afternoon.
Again with the scattered nature of these storms, some areas will get soaking rains…while other locations stay dry.
With all the moisture in the atmosphere if you get caught under one of the storms, you can expect locally heavy rainfall.
Afternoon highs will reach the upper 80’s to perhaps the low 90’s in a few locations.
As we look into the weekend, we don’t see much changing in Alabama’s weather. If anything we could see even more widespread thunderstorm activity on Saturday.
