The first full day of fall on Tuesday certainly had the feel in the air, especially with the cool overnight low temperatures.
Last night was another clear and cool night across the state. The temperatures are not as cool as on Tuesday morning…thanks to an easterly wind which has kept the temperatures in the upper 50’s and low 60’s in most locations.
Sunny and dry weather will continue today. Afternoon high temperatures will reach around the low 80’s in the Tennessee Valley locations, mid 80’s central and a few degrees warmer the further south you go.
Mostly sunny and warm days along with cool night-time lows are expected to remain through the rest of the work week.
Our next chance of rain still looks to come in on Saturday with better chances on Sunday as tropical moisture moves in from the Gulf.
