Mostly cloudy conditions persist over Alabama this morning, with a few light showers over the region.
The system along the Gulf has been a very poor performer when it comes to rain. There remains some uncertainly on the amount of rain associated with the system today.
The best chance of seeing rain today will remain in the southeast sections of the state. I don’t suspect we will see any heavy rain there, but there could be a few spots receive some much needed rain.
We look for partly to mostly cloudy conditions at times for the rest of the state. There may be some passing showers along the way today. Overall, it looks as if the dry weather will continue.
High temperatures will reach into the low 80’s for most locations across the state this afternoon.
Mostly fair weather returns to the state on Tuesday, before we look at the next chance of some rain by Thursday. Giving the poor weather models recently, I wouldn’t count on that happening just yet.
