Northerly winds are bringing in cool and dry air into Alabama today and into the upcoming weekend.
Mostly clear skies will provide bright sunny days and chilly night time lows.
Daytime highs will warm into the mid 50’s and low 60’s. Patchy frost will be possible across northern sections with lows in the 30’s.
Not many changes to the remainder of the forecast through the next 7 days. Models remain in good agreement with the passage of a dry front Saturday night. We will see an increase in cloud cover, however no rain is expected this weekend.
The next chance of rain comes Tuesday afternoon through Wednesday as a front crosses the area. Rainfall amounts will be light with this system.
A piece of cold arctic air does appear to dive towards the south with some cold air expected across the state by Thursday.
