After some chilly weather the past several days, we can look forward to a nice warming trend for the weekend.
As a southerly flow sets up across the southeast, we can expect a mix of clouds along with milder temperatures and dry conditions through the weekend.
Afternoon highs are expected to reach near 60 across the north, with upper 60’s across the south.
We will see increasing south to southwest winds. A few gusts of 15 to 20 mph are possible in the afternoon.
Iron Bowl Forecast: Increasing clouds with winds around 10 mph. Temperatures will be in the upper 50’s at kickoff, and only dropping a few degrees through the game to around 55 by the final whistle.
We expect to see more clouds on Sunday with temperatures edging up a few more degrees across Alabama.
We will see some small rain chances return early next week as a shortwave pushes a frontal boundary southward toward the deep south. We expect this front to wash out by Wednesday, along with any rain chances.
There is no Arctic air expected to move our way in the next 7 to 10 days, as we start December off with mild weather.
