Dry weather conditions are expected to continue through New Year’s Day on Thursday over Alabama.
Temperatures will be on the cold side, but not too extreme for this time of year.
The weather is relatively quiet for our neck of the woods, compared to much of the country…with some areas dealing with snow that rarely see any of the white stuff.
Overnight lows for tonight will drop into the 20’s for the northern sections with frost likely in most locations.
For the southern sections, the temperatures will dip into the 30’s with areas of frost possible.
The clouds will start to thicken Thursday night ahead of the next weather system.
At this point, the weekend looks really wet for Alabama with widespread rain expected to move in.
