After a week full of clouds and various forms of precipitation, the sun makes a return visit to Alabama.
The afternoon highs will reach into the 50’s across northern sections over the weekend. We expect 60’s for the folks in the southern areas of the state for the weekend highs.
There will be a weak upper level trough move across the Tennessee Valley on Sunday. With a lack of moisture, only a slight increase in cloud cover is expected Sunday morning.
This trough will push a front into the state Sunday afternoon, which will reinforce the dry air in place through the beginning of next week.
No extreme temperatures are expected for the next 5 days, as temperatures will remain at or above normal.
