A welcomed period of dry weather is expected across Alabama which should last through at least Tuesday night.
After that…the upper level flow becomes a bit more zonal once again and moisture levels start to creep back up.
Weak impulses in that flow will be difficult to forecast and time by the models at this point.
By the end of the week, we could see a couple more rounds of showers and thunderstorms become more widespread over the state.
The HPC is forecasting general rainfall amounts of 1/2 to 1 inch over the state over the next 5 days.
