The precipitation forecast through Saturday shows rain to the west and east of Alabama.
An easterly flow at low-levels is keeping moisture levels dry across the region. This flow and the influence of an upper ridge will keep conditions dry into the weekend.
Temperatures will continue to warm well into the 80’s with low 90’s for afternoon highs…especially for the southern portions by this weekend.
As the low-level flow becomes southerly, moisture levels will begin to increase into the weekend.
Chances of showers and thunderstorms return to the forecast Monday afternoon into Tuesday as a cold front approaches the region.
The main upper-level dynamics and surface Low will stay well to the north, so only scattered rain chances are expected at this time.
