Alabama is stuck in a persistent weather pattern with plenty of Gulf moisture flowing into the region.
We expect various disturbances and boundaries to interact with daytime heating to continue to produce scattered mainly afternoon and evening showers and thunderstorms.
We may see less storm coverage today as compared to the previous two afternoons, however chances will be higher than typical summer time percentages.
The highest threat from today’s storms will be locally heavy rainfall with a few storms producing small hail and gusty winds.
The storms will then taper off after sunset this evening.
