Drier Air Moving Into the State

A shift to the east in the weak front located west of Alabama on Monday has allowed drier air to move into the state.

This drier air will thin out some of the shower and thunderstorm activity across the region.

There will still be a few storms around especially in the heating of the day. The better chances will be over the southeastern sections of Alabama where moisture remains a bit higher.

With the drier air, we expect to see fewer clouds and as a result the temperatures will begin to edge back up across the area.
