Quiet weather continues across Alabama today as an upper level low continues to pull away from the area and into the Carolinas.
The airmass remains relatively dry today as weak impulses within a northerly flow rotate around the upper low. This could produce a few isolated showers or thunderstorms this afternoon…mainly across the far eastern sections of Alabama.
We expect temperatures to slowly increase as well over the next few days across the state.
We may see a stronger impulse drop into the northern part of the state on Saturday. This could increase the rain chances as moisture increases.
At this point, it would only be scattered chances and mainly over the northern sections of Alabama.
