As both Gulf moisture and multiple upper level disturbances continue to move northward across the region, numerous waves of showers and thunderstorms are expected through at least Thursday.
This may translate into episodes of localized flooding of low lying areas and other flood prone areas, especially this afternoon and Thursday as soil moisture content thickens.
We will be watching the approach of a weak front on Thursday, that could enhance the intensity of some of the storms over the region.
We expect the wet conditions to start thinning out across northern sections on Friday, with the arrival of some drier air.
It looks like we will see more sun and less showers over the weekend. This will allow daytime high temperatures to return back into the 90’s.
