A weak front moved into the state on Thursday, but has little affect on reducing the humid weather conditions.
Gulf moisture remains over the region and daytime heating will result in daily chances of scattered showers and thunderstorms through the weekend.
A couple of upper level disturbances will move across the southeast and will enhance the scattered storms from time to time.

Weather models advertise a change in the weather pattern next week. A strong cold front will move into the southeast and bring some drier air into the region by Tuesday.
This will allow dry weather to settle in for part of the week along with cooler temperatures.
