Erika’s remnant moisture off the southeast coast will help keep low to mid level moisture feeding across the area through at least Tuesday.
A few embedded waves in the upper pattern are the focus for any potential showers and thunderstorms. This would occur mainly during the heating of the day in the afternoon or evening.
Overall, partly cloudy conditions with the chance of an afternoon or evening storm developing will continue through Tuesday.
Some drying may occur by Wednesday that will allow moisture levels to decrease. An overall drying pattern will attempt to set in, but weather models vary.
No large scale features are indicated to change the weather around too much. For now, we expect to see partly cloudy and very warm conditions with a 20 to 30 percent chance of rain each day.
