High pressure remains the dominate weather feature across Alabama.
Partly cloudy, hot and mostly dry conditions are expected to persist through the end of the week.
Several waves will move along the Great Lakes and northeast regions over the next few days. It looks as the high pressure ridge will keep most areas of Alabama dry.
Daytime high temperatures are expected to just a bit above normal mostly in the upper 80’s and low 90’s north to the mid 90’s south.
We will watch some of the moisture from the tropical wave moving north from the northeast Gulf. This will provide the chance of some scattered showers and storms across the southeast sections of the state.
By the weekend…we may see a surge of low level moisture move into the region. This along with the potential for weak upper waves moving through may produce scattered showers and thunderstorms on Saturday and Sunday.
We will zero in more on the weekend weather as we approach late week.
