Touch of Fall in the Air

A strong cold front in northwest Alabama early Saturday morning will advance southward through the day.

The rain today will most likely be limited to the southern sections of the state along and south of the I-85 corridor.

With the passage of the front, we can actually talk of temperatures in the 50’s. We expect some upper 40’s in the naturally cooler locations in the north on Sunday morning.

Needless to say, the airmass will provide quite a touch of fall across the region into the start of next week.

Overall the models look dry across a good portion of the area. We may see a return flow of moisture by mid-week, and some chances of scattered showers at that point.
